To Fur or not to Fur?

Wearing fur is one of those things that people either totally disagree with or think is fabulous. I would wear faux fur if I wear to ever wear fur, but I’m not going bash people who choose real fur. In classic Hollywood films I feel like the fur piece was almost another character, it was usually so dramatic! Anyway, I probably put too many pictures up but I couldn’t stop myself, they all look so glamorous!

i like the look of fur, but i think it is awful to wear real fur when there are so many faux options out there. I think it used to be a real status symbol

I’m kinda torn. I don’t necessarily want 200 chinchillas to die so I can have an awesomely soft coat, but I’m not 100% “killing animals is wrong”. One main reason is I still eat chicken and fish. I can’t decide to spare rabbits but have no problem hitting up Chick-fil-A.

Anyways, I get where you would do faux fur if you had to wear it, but I always felt like having a real fur coat….I dunno…the whole status thing. If you’re gonna do it, then do it right. I may feel this way because I grew up with a grandmother that lived in that era and had many fur coats.

I don’t worry too much about it. I live in California where you never really need a fur coat.

The pictures are amazing though! ❤

My grandma used to have a Eskimo coat, made from polar bears! Have no clue why she had it, but it used to freak me out a bit, I didn’t even like touching it. I think one of the reasons I have never bought faux fur is because I agree, that if you’re going to do it, you might as well do it right and wear the real thing.
